Men's Golf Tied for 16th at 35th Annual Lou Flumere Invitational
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (April 2, 2008) -- The Springfield College men's golf team opened the spring portion of its golf season by finishing tied for 16th at the Lou Flumere Invitational, hosted by Bentley College, at Stow Acres Country Club in Stow, Mass. on Wednesday afternoon.

Springfield tied with Brandeis in the #16 spot with 346 strokes.

The tourney's medalist was AIC's Garrett Beyor, who shot a 72. He was one stroke better than Pasquale Pio of Nichols (73).

For Springfield College, low medalist was Michael Lajoie (T25th at 81). He was followed by Greg Levings (T33rd, 82), Aaron Simons (T73rd, 88), Cody Morrison (T98th, 95), and J.R. Balogun (T101, 96).
