Men's Cross Country Runs To 42nd at New Englands

BOSTON, Mass., Oct. 11, 2002 -- Springfield College sophomore Steve Wilson (W. Hartford, Conn.) and junior Brian Pearsall (Fairport, N.Y.) were the Pride's top runners at the 2002 New England Cross Country Championship held at Franklin Park.

The Pride placed 42nd out of 46 Division I, II and III teams. Providence College captured the team title.

Wilson and Pearsall both posted times of 27:07, which locked them in a tie for 208th out of 311 runners competing at the championship.
