Women's Tennis Falls At Wheaton, 7-2
NORTON, Mass., Oct. 11, 2003 - Springfield College sophomore Marisa Giaimo (Garden City, N.Y.) picked up a win at No. 3 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 11-9, but it wasn't enough as the Pride fell, 7-2, this afternoon in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) finale at the Clark Tennis Courts.
Giaimo teamed up with sophomore Suzanne Caiati (New Canaan, Conn.) to win at No. 2 doubles, 9-8.
The Pride fall to 6-6 on the season and finish sixth in the conference with a 3-5 mark. The Lyons improve to 9-2 (6-2 NEWMAC).

Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
