Men's Tennis Trounces Clark, 5-2
WORCESTER, Mass., April 17, 2002 - Senior Jason Loeb (Ossining, N.Y.) picked up wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles as the Pride downed host Clark University 5-2 on Thursday afternoon in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference match.
Loeb defeated Dmitry Meyerson 6-1, 6-0 and later teamed with sophomore Yuta Yoshi (Yokosuka, Japan) to post an 8-3 doubles win for the Pride.
Along with Loeb, teammates Yoshi and sophomore Chris Sweeney (Wakefield, Mass.) each earned wins in both singles and doubles play.
The Pride returns to NEWMAC play at M.I.T. on Saturday April, 20. Match time is 1:00 p.m.
