Women's Tennis Falls At Wheaton

NORTON, Mass., September 17, 2005 - Wheaton College juniors Jamie Weiss and Darby McDermott won at #1 and #2 singles, respectively, and also picked up a victory as a team at #1 doubles as the Lyons defeated Springfied College, 9-0, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action on Saturday afternoon, September 17.

SC falls to 1-3 overall on the 2005 fall season, and 1-2 in conference play. The Pride will host non-conference foe, Salve Regina University on Sunday afternoon, September 18, in a 1:00 p.m. at the Appleton Courts.
