Erin White Tabbed as ECAC Diver of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - December 6, 2007--Erin White has been chosen as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Diver of the Week after she led the women's swimming and diving team to a fourth-place finish this weekend at the ECAC Winter Championships.

White was simply outstanding in the meet as she won both the one and three-meter boards at the ECAC Winter Championships. On the one-meter, White registered a new ECAC 11-dive record with a score of 445.40. The Glastonbury, Conn. native recorded the highest one-meter score of the meet in either the men's or women's competition.

On the three-meter board, White recorded a 432.80 to capture her second individual crown of the day. In just two events, White finished 20th overall in individual points with 40.

White and the Pride return to action when they travel north to take on Middlebury on Saturday, December 8. The meet is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
