SPRINGFIELD, Mass., Sept. 23, 2004 - Springfield College junior Justin Pepoli (Ashburnham, Mass.) scored the lone goal for the Pride, but SC fell to Western New England College, 3-1, in a non-conference match at WNEC.
The Golden Bears struck first in the 20th minute when Scott Bullis scored off a feed from Michael Zawislak. WNEC added two more in the second half with goals from Dan Lawrence and Mike Schnepp.
Pepoli tallied his second goal of the season in the 82nd minute off of a pass from freshman Tony Distasio (Burlington, Conn.)
