Women's Cross Country Finishes Third At Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, Vermont - Sept. 13 - Springfield College senior All-American
Marisa Clapp (Charlton, Mass.) ran to a first-place finish to lead the Pride to third-place out of eight teams at the Middlebury Invitational this afternoon. The host Panthers won the race with 26 points, followed by Bates (53) and SC (60).
Clapp covered the 5,000-meter course in a time of 18:52 to win her second-straight race. She was also victorious last Saturday at the Amherst Invitational.
Sophomore
Megan Young (Hurley, N.Y.) finished fifth in a time of 19:52 for Springfield.
