

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – May 5, 2007 – The Springfield College men’s and women’s track and field teams both performed well at the New England Division III Track & Field Championships held at SC’s Blake Field over the past three days. The men finished third of 28 scoring teams, while the women finished fourth of 26 scoring teams.
Team scores on the men’s side were Williams 137.50, Tufts 91, Springfield 89, MIT 79, Coast Guard 60.33, Bates 52.50, Salem State 30, Eastern Conn.
