Young Finishes 63rd At NCAA Women's Cross Country Championship
Complete ResultsHANOVER, Ind., Nov. 22, 2003 -- Springfield College sophomore Meg Young ran to 63rd out of a field of 213 runners in her first appearance at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championshiops held this morning at Hanover University.
Senior All-America Marisa Clapp did not finish the race.
Middlebury won the national team championship, while Wartburg's (Iowa) Missy Buttry repeated as individual champion.

Head Coach Jim Pennington
Jim Pennington enters his 26th season as head coach of the Springfield College women’s cross country and track and field teams in 2008-2009. Under Pennington’s direction, the Pride has recorded seven top 20 finishes at the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships, and seven top 15 finishes at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
