Women's Tennis Edges Simmons College, 5-4
Springfield, Mass., Oct. 3, 2004 - Springfield College junior Suzannne Caitai (New Canaan.)
won at #1 doubles 9-8 (4) and at #1 singles 6-0, 6-1 propelling the Pride to a 5-4 victory over Simmons College at Appleton Courts.
SC senior Amy Dalenta (Tolland, Conn.)won her #1 doubles match, and #3 singles match
6-4, 6-1, 6-1. Megan Kelly (Queensbury, N.Y.) also had a big day for the Pride recording wins at #2 doubles 8-6, and #2 singles 6-1, 6-2.
The Pride improves to 3-5 (1-2 NEWMAC) and travels to Smith College on Oct. 5th for a conference match.

Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
