Men’s Golf Finishes 5th At Skidmore Invitational
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., Sept. 9, 2003– Springfield College’s Ben Machada shot a 79 to finish 13th out of 56 golfers at the 23rd Annual Skidmore Invitational Golf Tournament held at the McGregor Links Country Club on Tuesday.Machada led the Pride to a tie for fifth out of 11 teams. SC shot a 327. The Skidmore White team won the event with a 294.
SC’s Tyson Briggs came in 14th with an 80. Also competing for the Pride were Matt McCarthy (t-29th/84), Brian Chiravolo (t-29th/84) and Marc Saracino (t-54th/95).
