Women's Tennis Holds Off Colby Sawyer, 5-4
New London, N.H., Sept. 26, 2004 - Springfield College picked up its first road victory of the season by defeating Colby Sawyer, 5-4. SC junior Suzanne Caiati (New Canaan, Conn.) won at #1 singles (6-1, 6-1) and at #1 doubles (8-4) to help the Pride to its second win of the season.
Senior Aimee Dalenta (Tolland, Conn.)won her #1 doubles match with Caiati and her #2 singles (6-1, 6-1). Junior Megan Kelly (Queensbury, N.Y.) won her #3 singles match, 6-4, 6-1.
The Chargers fall to 6-2, while the Pride improve to 2-4 (1-1 NEWMAC).

Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
