Mike Griffin, Peter Ferraro Earns Fall NEWMAC All-Academic Status
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (November 10, 2006) – The New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference has announced the 2006 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Teams for the fall season.
Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale after the 2006 spring semester, achieved second year academic status at his or her institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.
Springfield College had 19 members make the Team from seven teams. They are:
Men’s Cross Country -- Mike Griffin, Sophomore, Scarborough, MaineMen's Cross Country -- Peter Ferraro, Senior, Springfield, Mass.
