"Count Me In!" SC Celebrates National Girls and Women in Sports Day (Jan. 28-Feb. 2)
The Athletics Department has planned a full week of events to commemorate the 20th anniversary of National Girls and Women in Sports Day. The festivities will kick off on Saturday, January 28th with a series of youth clinics open to the public for girls in grades 3-8. Other events (open to all SC students, faculty, and staff) include a night at the movies, a women’s golf clinic, and various health and wellness workshops/sessions. Head Coach Kathy Mangano
Kathy Mangano, who will be entering her 20th season coaching at her alma mater in 2009, is one of the top coaches in New England. The four-time conference Coach of the Year has won more games than any coach in the program’s history (458), and ranks among the national leaders in victories among active Division III coaches.
