Golf Places 12th at Middlebury's Duke Nelson
MIDDLEBURY, Vt., Sept. 14, 2003 – Springfield College Tyson Briggs led the Pride with a 160 as SC placed 12th out of 21 teams at the 20th Annual Duke Nelson Invitational.Briggs, who finished in a tie for 34th place out of 100 golfers, shot a 79 during Saturday’s first round. Ben Machada finished with a 162 after firing a 76 on Saturday. He finished in a tie for 42nd.
Clarkson (618) won the event, followed by Williams (619), Hamilton (619) and Vermont (621).
