

EWING, N.J., January 28, 2007 - Springfield College junior Jake Tyler (Gouverneur, N.Y.) won a 3-1 decision at 165 pounds over the College of New Jersey's Ryan McCabe, but the Pride fell to the eighth-ranked Lions, 34-9, this afternoon at Packer Hall.
TCNJ improves its 2006-07 record to an impressive 16-1, while SC falls to 8-11 overall in its fifth consecutive dual loss.
The only other victory on the day for the Pride came when junior Eliot Smith (Richville, N.Y.), who is currently ranked eighth individually at 184 pounds, won by forfeit.
SC senior Andre Lee (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) wrestled tough against TCNJ's Greg Osgoodby, who is ranked seventh individually at 174 pounds. In the end, however, Osgoodby sneaked by with the 5-4 decision.
The Pride will next travel to Johnson & Wales University to take on the Wildcats along with Plymouth State University and Trinity College on Saturday afternoon, February 3rd, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
