Men's Tennis Tops Connecticut College, 6-3
NEW LONDON, Conn- April 2, 2008 -The Springfield College men’s tennis team earned a 6-3 victory against Connecticut College (3-6) in a non-conference match played in New London Wednesday afternoon.Andrew Constant (Kingston, N.Y.) posted a 6-2, 6-1 victory at #1 singles for the Pride. Trevor Romanzi (Bayshore, N.Y.) and Tim Tunis (Sudbury, Mass.) were victorious in their respective spots at #4 and #6 singles for the visitors.
Connecticut College freshman Trevor Prophet (Nashua, N.H.) posted a 6-3, 6-4 victory at #2 singles. Ted McAusher (Mystic, Conn.) secured a 6-3, 7-6 win at #3 singles for the Camels. The Pride won each of the three points in doubles play.

Head Coach Tim Losee
Tim Losee ’05, G’07 was named the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Springfield College in August of 2009. A former four-year member of Springfield’s men’s tennis team, Losee returns to his alma mater to pilot both the men’s and women’s tennis programs. Read more.
