One of the top track & field programs in the Northeast, Springfield College won two consecutive Eastern College Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship in 2002 and 2003.
Heading into the 2007-08 season, SC has finished in the top four in nine of the last 11 Division III New England Outdoor Championships, as the Pride finished third of 28 teams when it hosted the meet in 2007. The Pride hosted and won the meet in 2000. In addition, last Spring SC placed second in a field of 44 teams at the ECAC Championships.
Springfield College has produced 56 All-Americans in track & field. The outdoor track & field team has a 65-6 record in dual meets since the 1997 season.
