Lauren McAulay: Women's Lacrosse

Lauren McAulay
Lauren McAulay has been selected as the Springfield College Female Maroon Club Athlete of the Week after a standout performance between the pipes for the women's lacrosse team in its only game of the week. Despite losing 10-9 in double overtime, the Pride have McAulay, a native of Yorktown, N.Y., to thank for keeping the game close throughout.

The junior netminder recorded 14 saves in the game and was the major reason why the Lord Jeffs were limited to just 2-of-9 on their free position shots. McAulay came up with several big saves including in the game as she faced 26 shots in the game. She also caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls in the contest.
