


A native of Mansfield Center, Conn., Lang-Rodean paced Springfield to a 4-1 week, including a 3-1 record at the Tom Hay Invitational over the weekend.
The junior continued her solid and steady play throughout the week as she totaled 67 kills in five matches, averaging 3.72 per game. Hitting an impressive .368 for the week, she added 16 blocks (eight solo, eight assisted), and 10 service aces.
Lang-Rodean started the week off with a 10-kill performance, hitting .450 as the Pride swept Mount Holyoke in conference action. Then on Friday, she posted 11 kills, three aces, and two blocks in the Tom Hay opener against Westfield State. In Springfield's only loss of the week, Lang-Rodean was sensational, tallying 22 kills, five blocks, and four aces against Plymouth State.
On Saturday, she started the day off with 11 kills, hitting .400 against WNEC. She finished the day with 13 kills, three aces, and five blocks in a four-game victory over Endicott.
