


On Thursday, the Franklin, Mass. native won her No. 3 singles match, 6-2, 6-1, against rival Western New England. Carney continued her impressive week by earning a 6-1, 6-3 victory against Wheaton on Saturday playing at the number three singles position for the Pride.
Carney, a freshman, has started her career for the Pride with three straight victories and has won 36 games while only dropping eight.
