Brenden Moore: Football

Moore, who hails from Jamesville, N.Y., was sensational for the Pride as it picked up a 43-23 win over Mount Ida this weekend.

For his efforts, he was also chosen as the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Week as well as the ECAC Division III Northwest Defensive Player of the Week.

The freshman made a career-best 17 tackles, including 1.5 for a loss, a pass deflection, and a key interception. Moore made a pick in second quarter and returned it 22 yards to set up a Marc Safer touchdown that put Springfield up for good in the game.
