John Strawson: Men's Basketball

Strawson, who hails from Torrington, Conn., was named to the All-Tournament Team as he averaged 13 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in just 17 minutes per contest. For the weekend, Strawson shot 62.5% from the floor.

The senior center tallied 12 points to go along with three rebounds in the Pride's 80-68 loss to Becker in its first game in 2009. In the consolation game of the Classic against Castleton State, Strawson was terrific as he poured in 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field. He also grabbed eight rebounds, five on the offensive glass, to go along with two assists. As the Pride cruised to a 97-55 victory, Strawson played just 17 minutes in the game.
