Hay, a native of Norwalk, Conn. continued to dominate the New England track and field scene as she took first in the long jump (18'00 1/2), the triple jump (38'11 3/4), and the 200 meters (25.55).
Hay's marks for the day were some of the best in program history, as she broke her own school record in the triple jump that she had previously set last year with a 38-1 1/4. She also tied the school record in the 200 meters, a record she now shares with former All-American, Janet Williams. Hay's electronically-timed mark of 25.55 is the equivalent of Williams' hand-time of 25.3, which she set in 1986.
Hay met the NCAA Provisional qualifying mark in the long jump once again, became an automatic qualifier in the triple jump for the NCAA Championships, and qualified for the Division III New England, Open New England, and ECAC Championships.
