


The junior from Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. was outstanding for the Pride as he powered them to wins over fifth-seeded Clark and top-seeded WPI before falling to second-seeded MIT in the title game.
For the week, Crean averaged 19.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists per game while shooting 54% from the floor.
Crean started the week with a 24-point, 8-rebound performance as the Pride cruised to victory over Clark, 85-66, in the NEWMAC Tournament Quarterfinals. In the semifinals at top-seed WPI, Crean fueled the Pride's 61-46 upset win as he tallied his first double double of the season. Crean posted 13 points, 15 rebounds, to go along with five assists, and two steals. In the championship game, the junior swingman tallied a team-best 20 points, going 8-for-11 from the free throw line.
For the season, Crean led the team in scoring with 14.5 points per game and led the team in assists with 85.
