The Granby, Conn. product lifted the Pride to victory when she found the back of the cage just 28 seconds into overtime. At the start of the overtime period, Morgan Rein broke free in the 7x7 situation. Rein then played a through ball past the keeper to Gamble, who was sprinting to the far side of the cage for an uncontested score.
The win moved Springfield's record to 3-2 on the year and snapped its two-game losing skid. It was Gamble's team-leading third goal of the 2009 season.
