Katie Mantie: Women's Soccer

Mantie, a sophomore forward from Wallingford, Conn., tallied four goals in a 26:04 time span, to lead the Pride past NEWMAC opponent Smith College 5-0 on Tuesday. The win along with Saturday's 2-1 overtime victory against Clark brings the Pride's record to 11-4-2 on the season.

Mantie's four goal performance adds to her team leading eight goals and gives her 18 points for the season thus far. In games which Mantie has scored, the Pride are 4-0.

Springfield now moves on to the NEWMAC Tourney semifinals where it will play #1-seeded Wellesley at Wellesley next Saturday
