Nicole Hanewich: Women's Soccer

Hanewich, who hails from Smithfield, R.I. had a standout week for Springfield as the Pride, currently ranked tied for 22nd in the country in the latest NSCAA poll, went 2-0.

She tallied a team-best three goals on the week, with two coming in the Pride's 4-0 win over Clark on Tuesday. On Saturday, Hanewich tallied the Pride's second goal in the opening eight minutes as Springfield snapped Wheaton's league-unbeaten streak, which was the longest in the nation.

For the season, Hanewich is second on the team with 11 points off five goals and an assist.
