


The junior setter was selected as the Invitational's MVP as she totaled 161 assists in four matches, averaging 10.73 per game. She led the Springfield offense to a .282 hitting percentage as a team and added 25 digs and a team-best nine aces over the weekend.
The Fairhaven, Mass. native got better as the weekend progressed, starting off with 33 assists and six digs against Keene State and 27 assists and four aces against Bridgewater on Friday. On Saturday, she totaled 40 assists and eight digs in four games versus Conn. College. Later that afternoon in the championship game against JWU, Hellyar delivered a career-best 61 assists to go along with six digs and five aces to lead the Pride to a five-game win.
