About The Team

Springfield College has become one of the top Division III women’s lacrosse programs in New England. The Pride has posted 10-or-more wins in each of the last 11 seasons, including 2011 when it finished 11-6. Under the direction of head coach Kristen Mullady, the Pride continues to move in the right direction.

Springfield College recorded identical 12-6 marks in 2005 and 2006, each year winning the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) post-season championship, thus earning a berth into the NCAA Division III championship. In the past nine season, SC has won three NEWMAC tournaments, coming in 2002, 2005, and 2006. Overall, the Pride has appeared in the NEWMAC title game in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, and 2010.

During the 2011 season, Springfield reached the NEWMAC title game once again, reaching the NEWMAC title game for the ninth time in the last 11 seasons. Last season, Mullady was named the NEWMAC Coach of the Year as Springfield landed six players on the NEWMAC All-Conference Team, including conference player of the year Jackie Moscardelli.
