Women's Volleyball To Host Clinic On March 28th

Springfield, Mass. - February 20, 2009 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team will be offering a clinic for boy and girls in grades 6-8. Reigning NEWMAC Coach of the Year Joel Dearing and the 2008 NEWMAC Champion Springfield College women's volleyball team will run the clinic.

The clinic, which costs $30.00, will take place on Saturday, March 28th in Springfield College's Blake Arena The clinic will go from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Participants are asked to wear a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers. Knee pads are optional.

Head Coach Joel Dearing

Joel Dearing will enter his 21st season as head women's volleyball coach at his alma mater in the fall of 2009. Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it. Dearing ranks in the top-10 in Division III history with a 670-298 (.692) overall mark in 28 seasons as a women’s volleyball coach. Read more.
