Amendola and Brognano Named To USTFCCCA Division III Men’s All-Academic Track and Field Team New Orleans, La. - July 9, 2009 - Matt Amendola and Tom Brognano were recently honored for their academic success as they were both named to the 2009 USTFCCCA Division III Men’s All-Academic Track and Field Team.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met the NCAA Division III Indoor or Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event.

Both Amendola and Brognano were a part of Springfield's 4x100 relay team that earned All-America status in the outdoor season. Along with teammates Nickel Hay and Steve Headley, the Pride finished sixth with a time of 41.36 seconds.
