

Complete ResultsCambridge, Mass. - February 7, 2009 - Josh Fox finished first on the all-around with an 81.65 to lead the Springfield College men's gymnastics team to a 326.05-309.00 victory at MIT on Saturday afternoon. Teammate Ty Evans recorded a second-place finish in the all-around with a 80.2.
Springfield dominated the meet as it captured first place in five of the six events on the day. Matthew Bolognese took first in the still rings (14.5), Fox placed first in the floor exercise (14.75 ), . Michael Freundlich and Andrew Kelly tied for first on the pommel horse (12.85), Kyle Bartgis took first in the parallel bars (13.65), and Evans was outstanding on the vault with a 15.6.
For the Pride, it placed the top four finishers in both the floor exercise and the parallel bars and had the top three scores on the vault.
The Pride return to action when it hosts the New England Championships on Sunday afternoon in Blake Arena.
