Joe Eadie was named the NECC conference Coach of the Year, while senior
Greg Levings was named the NECC Player of the Year. In addition, senior
Mike LaJoie and then-sophomore
Craig DiFranco joined Levings on the All-Conference First Team. Lajoie finished in second-place, five strokes off the leader. The 2011 Pride golf team will be led by a former NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, junior
Kyle DiFranco.
In order to play for the Springfield College golf team, players who try out must be at least a 10 handicap or better.

In 2005, the Pride hosted the ECAC Division III Championships at Hampden Country Club. At that tourney, SC registered a very strong team performance, finishing fifth out of 19 competing squads. Led by Levings and Lajoie with identical six-over par scores of 78, the Pride finished with a team total of 315 strokes, just nine off the leaders.
Head coach Joe Eadie, who is entering his 18th season directing SC's golf program in 2011, won the 1997 Kinny Open Tournament in Hartford, Conn., and finished in the top 10 at the Boston Open Tournament three times. He is in the process of becoming a PGA Professional.
