Men's Swimming & Diving Falls To Williams, 180-101

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Jan., 25, 2003 - Springfield College freshman diver Mike Shaw (Westfield, Mass.) placed first in the one meter dive (224.40) and in the three meter dive (271.73), but the Pride lost to Williams College, 180-101.

Sophomore Louis Arruda (West Warwick, R.I.) finished second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.33) and third in the 100-yard freestyle (48.61) and the 500-yard free style.

Aruda, joined by sophomore teammates Blake Leshnick (Suffern, N.Y.), Jeff Dornweerd (Meriden, Conn.), and senior Craig Dolan (Edison, N.J.) won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:17.63.

Senior diver Dan Bartholomew (Willits, Calif.) took second in both the one meter dive (211.88) and the three meter dive (217.28).
