Diving Finishes Third In SC Diving Invitational
SPRINGFIELD, Mass., December 8, 2002 - Springfield College freshman Mike Shaw (Westfield, Mass.) earned the male diver-of-the-meet honors, propelling the Pride to a third-place finish out of 13 teams at the SC Diving Invitational on Sunday at the Art Linkletter Natatorium.Shaw finished first on both the one and three-meter boards with scores of 267.30 and 265.45, respectively.
Senior All-American Alison Mellage (Union, N.J.) finished first in the one-meter dive with a score of 247.95 and fourth in the three meter dive with a score of 234.95 for the Pride.

Head Coach John Taffe

Diving Coach Peter Avdoulos
Peter Avdoulos is regarded as one of the top diving coaches in the nation, and will enter his 25th season as the diving coach for both the men's and women's programs in 2009-2010.
