SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. Oct. 29, 2002 - Springfield College senior middle blocker
Jaime Austin (Bedford, N.H.) registered nine kills and 11 blocks to lead the Pride to a 3-0 (30-25, 30-14, 30-14) win over Mount Holyoke College in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's volleyball action, Tuesday.
Senior outside hitter
Heather Schlitz (Huntington Station, N.Y.) totaled eight kills and 17 digs, while freshman
Alecia Vacari (Winsted, Conn.) was credited with 34 assists and 14 digs as Springfield improved to 21-11 and 5-3 in the NEWMAC.
Mount Holyoke fell to 5-20 on the season, including a 1-8 conference mark.

Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it.
