Women's Volleyball Too Much For Babson, 3-0

WELLESLEY, Mass., Oct. 21 - Springfield College freshman outside hitter Jody Pfeifer (Northglenn, Colo.) registered a career-high seven kills to lead the Pride to a 3-0 (30-12, 30-11, 30-11) sweep at Babson College this evening in new England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's volleyball action,

Sophomore setter Alesia Vaccari (Winsted, Conn.) added 26 assists while sophomore Ashley Reves (Orchard Park, N.Y.) was credited with seven kills for Springfield, ranked second in the latest AVCA Division III New England Region poll.

The win kept SC (24-2, 7-0 NEWMAC) undefeated in conference play while extending its winning streak to 11 matches.

Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it.
