Women's Volleyball Cruises Past Clark, 3-0

WORCESTER, Mass., Sept. 29, 2004 - Springfield College junior All-American Ashley Reves (Orchard Park, N.Y.) totaled 12 kills to lead the Pride to a 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-15) sweep of Clark University, in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women's volleyball action, Wednesday.

The Pride improved to 13-3 this fall, including a 3-1 record in the NEWMAC.

SC travels to Huntingdon, Pa. on Friday (Oct. 1) to take on No. 3 Juniata College in a 7 p.m. match.

Head Coach Joel Dearing

Joel Dearing will enter his 21st season as head women's volleyball coach at his alma mater in the fall of 2009. Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it. Dearing ranks in the top-10 in Division III history with a 670-298 (.692) overall mark in 28 seasons as a women’s volleyball coach. Read more.
