Eastern Connecticut Edges Women's Soccer, 1-0

WILLIMANTIC, Conn., September 13, 2003- Eastern Connecticut junior forward Jen Ferrari (Coventry, R.I.) scored the lone goal of the game with eight seconds remaining in the second half as the Warriors defeated Springfield College, 1-0, on Saturday.

SC sophomore goalkeeper Christina Davis (Orange, Conn.) had two saves on six shots in the contest, giving up just her first goal of the season in the loss. Ferrari's goal marked the end of Davis' 363:52 shutout streak to start the season.

The Pride (2-1-1) is home against the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) on Wednesday, September 17, at 4:00 p.m.
