

In a come-from-behind thriller, the Pride captured the EIVA Hay crown after defeating the then-No. 2 NYU Violets in five games. The Pride captured the match by the scores 24-30, 27-30, 30-28, 30-21, 15-13.
Fredrickson led the way with 19 kills to go along with five blocks and four digs as he was one of only two members of the Pride to register double-digit kills. AJ Nally chipped in with 19 as well for SC.
In the match, Fredrickson averaged 3.8 kills, .8 digs, 1.0 blocks and 4.3 points per game.
Next up for the Pride will be the National Semifinals on Friday at 5:00 pm in Blake Arena when it squares off against Juniata.
