Steve Headley: Men's Indoor Track and Field
Steve Headley has been chosen Springfield College's Male Maroon Club Athlete of the Week (Dec. 10) after he had an outstanding showing at the Harvard Open over the weekend.A sophomore from Wilbraham, Mass., Headley was terrific for the Pride in the meet that consisted of runners from Division I, II, and III. In the 60 meter dash, he came in third overall in with a time of 6.86, a time that qualified him for the NCAA Championships. To date, Headley ran the third-fastest time in the country this season in Division III in that race.
Headley and the Pride will next race in the Coast Guard Invitational on January 26, 2008.
