

A native of Gorham, Maine, Jenkins led the way for the Pride over the week as Springfield improved to 11-2 on the season. The Pride, who have now won six games in a row, are currently ranked 14th in the country in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches Association Poll.
On Tuesday evening, Jenkins tallied a goal as Springfield cruised past Smith, 5-1. At MIT on Saturday, the senior forward found the back of the cage on two occasions, including the game-winner, to propel the Pride to a 3-0 win over the Engineers.
For the season, Jenkins ranks third on the team in points with 17 off seven goals and three assists.
Jenkins and the Pride return to action on Tuesday evening when they travel to square off against WPI.
