Finch Earns NEWBA Weekly Honor Roll Status
South Hadley, Mass.- January 20, 2009 - Springfield College senior Corey Finch was recently named to the New England Women's Basketball Association's Weekly Honor Roll for her terrific play last week.The Hanover, Pa. native earned NEWBA Honor Roll status after she led the Pride to a 2-0 week. Finch averaged 16.5 point and 11.5 rebounds as she shot 62.5% from the floor as Springfield improved to 8-7, 3-0 in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play.
In the win over Coast Guard, Finch snagged 12 rebounds to go along with six points. On Saturday, Finch was nearly unstoppable as she connected on 12-of-14 shots as she poured in a career-best 27 points to go with 11 rebounds as she powered the Pride past Mount Holyoke.

Head Coach Naomi Graves
Entering her 19th season as head coach in 2009-10, Naomi Graves has directed her squads to an impressive 266-117 record (.695 winning percentage) since joining the Division III ranks in 1995. Graves has led the Pride to eleven post-season bids in the past 14 years, including five berths in the NCAA Division III Tournament in the past nine years.
