Women's Volleyball Match Versus Wellesley Postponed to October 29
Springfield, Mass. - September 17, 2009 - The Springfield College women's volleyball team's match against conference-rival Wellesley originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 29th. The Pride and Blue will now face off at 7:00 pm in what will prove to be a pivotal conference match. Springfield will enjoy the weekend away from competition as it prepares for its next match on Tuesday evening at MIT.

Head Coach Joel Dearing
Joel Dearing will enter his 21st season as head women's volleyball coach at his alma mater in the fall of 2009. Dearing is regarded nationally as one of the sport’s best coaches and he has the resume to prove it. Dearing ranks in the top-10 in Division III history with a 670-298 (.692) overall mark in 28 seasons as a women’s volleyball coach.
