Physical Education Teacher--Professional Licensure Program
The Department of Physical Education Teacher Licensure Evening Degree Program for Graduate Students is designed for persons who have earned undergraduate degrees in physical education and who wish to meet the requirements for the professional stage of licensure in Massachusetts. This program is one of few physical education teacher licensure programs approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education. It can be completed in one to three years and credits can be applied toward an M.S. or M. Ed. degree. The program emphasizes advanced pedagogical content and provides veteran physical education teachers with opportunities to further develop their ability to be a reflective teacher.
