History/American Studies Career Day
Connections: Explore Your Roots, Connect With Today, and Discover Your Future
We cordially invite you to attend the History/American Studies Career Day at Springfield College on Monday, Nov. 11, 2013. Register today.
The study of History at Springfield College provides students with the background necessary to understand a complex and rapidly changing world. The core of historical understanding enables individuals to function as educated and informed citizens of a democratic society. Resolving contemporary problems requires an understanding of their origin and background.
Skills acquired: analytical, problem solving, writing, and understanding how societies have worked differently over time.
Students who major in history are prepared for graduate school or careers in government service, law, business, education, diplomacy, libraries and museums, and public relations.
For more information about the History Program at Springfield College, contact Professor Herbert Zettl at (413) 748-3646 or the Admissions Office at (800) 343-1257.
