3+3 Program at Springfield College
Springfield College, in partnership with Western New England University (WNE), is offering a 3+3 Program for students interested in pursuing a career in law. The program provides students with the opportunity to complete their undergraduate study at Springfield College in three years, followed by three years of law study at WNE.
While students may select a major of their choice, it is recommended that students choose one of the social science majors offered at Springfield College, including American studies, sociology, criminal justice, history, or youth development. Early and careful advising in the student's major is recommended to ensure that students complete the requirements in three years. In addition, students are advised to obtain pre-law advising from Dan Russell.
As first-year students at Western New England University's School of Law, 3+3 students will continue to be part of Springfield College, and will remain entitled to all of the advantages they had as undergraduates at the College.
The close proximity of Springfield College to WNE (less than three miles) provides 3+3 students with the opportunity to use Springfield College as a resource, and to maintain contact with peers and faculty members. In addition, this program reduces tuition payments by one year.
