Graduate Athletic Training
The graduate athletic training program is designed for National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) or certification-eligible athletic trainers and other athletic health care professionals.
The program allows students to focus on one of three concentrations:
- Athletic Training Administration
- Athletic Training Professional Preparation
- Athletic Training Rehabilitation
The 36 semester hour program will provide students with a strong theoretical and research basis in their concentration. All students are required to complete fieldwork experience specific to their concentration and professional goals. In addition, the program requires completion of a research requirement (thesis or independent study).
NOTE: The program is not a BOC certification preparation program.
